What We Offer You: Basic obedience training for all breeds in a caring home environment

We are located on ten wooded acres in beautiful Berea, Kentucky, 30 minutes from Lexington, just off I-75. Our home is right next to our kennels, allowing us to provide your pet with the highest quality personal care and attention. We are currently accepting reservations for our three-week in-kennel board and train basic obedience program.

Friendly, Professional Service

Durham Kennels is owned and operated by trainer Jim Durham. Recommended by vets throughout Central Kentucky, Jim's dog training expertise is drawn from over thirty years of professional experience. Whether you have just purchased a brand new pup or have opened your heart to an adoptee from a local animal shelter, Jim can provide expert advice and helpful problem-solving during your first few weeks of pet ownership. In addition to our Board and Train program, we also have a Puppy Program specifically designed for new pet owners.

Personal Coaching and Guidance

No matter the age or breed, Jim's personal coaching and guidance will ensure that you develop a positive, lasting and rewarding relationship with your dog. Give him a call and he can also help with choosing the right pet for you and your family.

An Important Decision

Because your dog is a beloved family member, we understand that choosing a qualified trainer is an important decision. That's why we encourage you to contact us and visit our facility so that you can meet with Jim personally and see for yourself the "caring home environment" that we have created for your pet.
