Board and Train Program
If you choose this option, your dog will come and stay with us here at our kennel, which is located right next to our home. Your dog should be at least eighteen weeks old.
During the three week intensive, Jim will teach your pet all of the basic obedience commands. By working with your dog several times a day, he/she will receive training, playtime and exercise. Because Jim accepts only a limited number of dogs for training at any one time, each dog receives the amount of personal care and attention necessary for a successful training experience.
After the initial training period, you and other family members will return for up to six follow-up classes. A critical part of your dog's training, these sessions are designed to teach you how to handle your dog and to ensure that you understand and can properly execute all of the commands. Jim will continue to work with you until you have established a successful working relationship with your pet. You may also call Jim at any time during the training period and follow-up classes to receive needed support and guidance by phone.
The key to successful obedience training is your commitment and willingness to spend time every day working and playing with your dog.
